Antlion lacewing
Antlion really applies to the strange looking larva of this lacewing fly and the adult can be called an antgriffin, though I think antlion can be used generally for them all.
Actually a really lovely fly - about 40mm long and if you go LARGE you'll see that it's legs look like they are made of gold! The wings were just beautiful when it flew off – so delicate.
Another one found on the veggie bed netting – bugs do seem to like the netting for some reason.
