The winter sunrise above the clouds

Another early start, and another trip south to the office.
Despite the winter clouds down at ground level, they gave way to clear skies above in time for the sun to come up.

I started taking photos a couple of minutes apart in order to show R the sunrise, as they are studying the sun and moon at school.

When I put the pics together, the nice sunshine looked good enough to share.



On a separate note, I'm struggling in the last few days to get well focused/not grainy photos on the Galaxy S4 (in anything other than bright light). I'm hoping I've just changed a setting by mistake as it's getting quite annoying.
