Sun obscurer

I took the waterproof camera to lifeguard training today but to say that the results were unflattering would be an understatement. Instead I shall revisit the heavens, which around here never fail to impress. Bright, winter sun and dark shower clouds presented a plethora of contrasts. I'm about to set up the telescope tripod so when I suss out how to manually set the exposure on this camera I hope to be able to present steadier shots. I really wish I'd had it set up to catch the moonbow the other night. I'll not be caught with my figurative trousers down in future.
