It's up. After nearly three years in a box, it's up. There is still some tweaking to be done. I haven't balanced it and I haven't bothered to fit the viewing lens yet. I need daylight to align the finder scope so I shall do that 'the morn', as they say up here. It's very cloudy so I know that I'm not missing much. How ironic, if that's what it is, that Aurorawatch has chosen this moment to get excited? Can't wait to get the caps off and have a 'butcher's'. Some people on Stronsay might want to start thinking about drawing their curtains from now on!
