The first frost blip of the winter! Ooooooooo!

It's been a good day today. Miss Maggie slept until 7.45am, then it was H's birthday party. It was a football party at the local sports' arena, so there were 16 boys outside in the freezing cold, all dressed in various football kits (and by that I mean shorts) and refusing to wear jackets or jumpers. They loved it. There was the odd fracas, and a couple of them were given yellow cards, but apart from that it went very well! Then it was back inside for pizza and cake. And the best part of all? Unlike last year's party, this one was completely stress free! Hooray!

This afternoon has been spent unwrapping yet more presents and just generally relaxing. Lovely. And now the birthday boy is insisting on a Chinese takeaway for tea...

Who am I to refuse?
