Uncle John and Aunty Laura visited... xxx

It was very late when Eva eventually went to sleep for the night, around 1am. She then slept through til gone 8 this morning, then we had milk and cuddles in bed til gone 9am, bliss.

Mike made me a sausage sandwich for breakfast. Eva had just got toast, so I broke her some of my sausage into about 5 small chunks, and she ate the lot, yum yum.

She had a lovely long play after breakfast and watched some C Beebies. One of the things I do for her, which she loves, is refilling her treasure basket that we made at stay and play with it's usual spoons, pegs and toothbrush etc, but I add some of her small toys and maracas to it. She'll either tip the whole lot upside down in 1 go and pick out a few things to play with, or she'll take 1 thing out at a time, play with it, then get the next thing out. I refill that treasure basket a few times each day.

Eva has been off her food the last few days, but at nursery they have lunch around 11.30am before nap time at 12. I defrosted one of her chicken dinners for today's lunch, to see if that would make a difference to what she ate, she ate about 4 or 5 spoonfuls, but that was it.
At tea time I just put the separate bits to the roast gammon dinner on her highchair tray (roast potato, meat, cabbage, carrots and sweetcorn) and she ate the lot, bizarre.

Uncle John and Aunty Laura, closely followed by my dad, all came round this afternoon after Eva's sleep. It was lovely to catch up with them all, I hadn't really seen my brother since Christmas. He ended up giving Eva her afternoon bottle and she nearly drank the lot (today's pic).

I made home made salmon fish cakes for Eva this evening for the very first time. The ingredients I had made 5, and I've put them in the freezer, as now she's eating more, I often get stuck for inspiration of healthy things to give her. I was very proud of myself for making them. I even chopped up some parsley and added it.

I now have Eva's cold. My nose has streamed literally constantly all day and my sinuses been very painful, so I know how babba girl must have been feeling :-(

I'm getting an early night tonight as work tomorrow (and Eva's at nursery), so hopefully we all get a good night's sleep xxx
