Bamboo of Damocles

An evening out after a further day of working on the Children and Young People (Scotland) Bill and the remaining stages as well as planning ahead.

Met up with colleagues - 2 now former colleagues - as part of a regular gathering every 2-3 months. Dates back to our days in criminal justice.

The venue is a Chinese restaurant in Canonmills where refurbishment a year ago resulted in this ceiling. If you do look up it is slightly unnerving but the overall effect is dramatic. It does not detract from the food - or the company.
