can't stand the heat?

I walked through Victoria Park and then caught a bus to the migrant centre...where it really was a case of get out of the kitchen if you can't stand the heat - it must have been 50 degrees in there, which made me think of Australia. So glad I had the foresight to take off my thermals before I started, but so warm in London today - 12 - that I didn't put them back on to get home again, either.

Rang at St Mary's, Bow tonight, the bells are 1950s as the tower was blown apart in the Blitz, and they are a fine ring.
