Oh Deer...

they're here again!

This morning I met up with Chrissy, Majicmoments and Marlytyz for a coffee at Metro Deco, a fantastic art deco cafe in Kemp Town. Then Chrissy and I joined the walking group for the re-run of last week's recce where we got lost, wet, and muddy.

Thankfully we'd planned it well and there were no hiccups today. The rain even stayed away until we'd finished the walk, and I got plenty more shots of the deer. There was a very inquisitive young white stage who decided to follow me, and a few of my fellow walkers were a little concerned that he was heading towards us, but I wasn't worried as he didn't seem anxious. So the true stupid Blipper that I am, carried on taking photos as he approached which you can see here. The rest of the group carried on, but myself and Rolf stood still while the Stag approached, and he actually got very close until I crouched down and held my hand out. The movement scared him and he ran off, but at least I got some good close ups, and I was tempted to blip one of these, but after last week's blip of the brown stag, I decided that today it should be a group shot.

I'm now getting ready for our journey to up North - we're leaving after we've eaten and when the traffic's calmed down, but we won't arrive at my mum's until well after midnight. We've got Scarlett's birthday tomorrow and then a party on Saturday for my aunty who's 92, so I apologise if I don't manage to comment on your journals, it's going to be a busy weekend!
