Winter Trees

I’ve always liked these two trees, there’s something about the way they lean into each other to make one large tree shape that has always appealed. Unfortunately they are just off the main A1 dual carriageway and the signs of habitation are all too obvious, especially the fact that they are totally surrounded by telegraph wires and it is impossible to photograph them without the wires intruding. However, as today was such a dull day I thought I could probably lessen their impact fairly easily. There are other distracting features like a yellow road salt bin and a rather prominent sign that could easily be disguised in monochrome. So at long last you have yet another example of my penchant for winter trees.
