Kids In Boxes and Intestines Make Poo
There was another birthday kid at school today. Bailee and Oscar got sent home with the dreaded party bag. This one wasn't as food colouring/sugar dense as a lot from the past. It had a small piece of cake, a bag of chips, a toy drum and..... an orange!
So the afternoon was spent jamming with the drums in the bedroom to 'This Old Man'.
Then I was asked to read some of the body book. The part about eating an apple seemed to spark fascination and so the questions began:
Mummy, where are our organs?
What is behind our back?
Does Nana (Toy monkey) have organs?.... I don't want Nana to have organs...
Why does our intestines make a poo?
Does our bottom have a bone?
Do our intestines make a poo? But we don't eat it coz it's yucky!
Why does our arm bend?
Why we have lumps on our tongue? (To taste things and see if they are salty, sweet, bitter or sour)...
What about spicy? Chili is hot.
My intestines make a poo.
