Nature the Artist

Sometimes the energy to connect with the blipping muse is curiously absent, and so when the blinds were raised this morning to reveal dawn painting the sky in vivid colours, I was not going to refuse the easy blip, even though I could hear in my head the resident photo editor's voice telling me I had done it before- he's a hard task master when it comes to my repeating a blip.

The colour quickly vanished leaving a dank grey day in which to take a trip to the land of the flat pack to buy some specific light bulbs. For once we exited its doors with nothing more than the bulbs, some coat hangers and paper table napkins; a cheap visit all round.
