Fort Worth is known as Cowtown. Big slaughter houses and meat packing facilities were built to process animals to be sent around the world. Folks here still like their MEAT. BBQ and steak places are everywhere. Small hamburgers are 1/3 pound. Most are half pound of beef with a bunch of bacon stacked on top.

I am not a vegan, but try real hard to be one. In all this Texas testosterone and beef, one of the US highest rated vegan restaurant flourishes. My daughter, Molly, and I went there for lunch. The food was great as always. They had remodeled slightly by painting their back wall.
