Jasmine
This morning we held another of our practice sessions leading up to the big event on 14th February where we in Norwich will join with others around the world to rise up against domestic violence.
In Norwich we will be drumming for justice and we will be inviting people to tell the world about why they are joining us. Here is my friend Jasmine, one of the other members of the organising team, telling why she is drumming for justice.
She has been bringing two of her sons along to the practice sessions and one of them asked her who was the 'captain' of the sessions. When she asked him who he thought the 'captain' was, he said he thought everyone was, because at the start of the session today the lady with short hair seemed to be and then at the end the lady with the red hat seemed to be.
He was absolutely correct. We are all captains.
It was a cold and soggy morning but we had a good turnout. I should've had a hot bath as soon as I got home but I didn't. And am regretting it a little now.
