The Matterhorn

Hit the slopes today! It was so much fun and so beautiful. Kevin's last time on skis was almost exactly 15 years ago at Mont Tremblant, but I think he looks like a natural here despite his long hiatus.

There are several ski areas that can be reached by the Zermatt gondolas. Today we skied at Gornergrat. We could see the Matterhorn from the pistes. We also have a view of this mountain, the most photographed in the world, from our hotel room balcony. This morning it was covered with snowy clouds, as were our ski runs, but it cleared up during the day to make it perfect!

After working up an appetite skiing, we had Swiss fondue for dinner. Yum!
