Rat Poison

One of our houses seems to be getting frequent visits from rats.....

I put some poison out and they are eating it, but as the wife says, it may have killed 14 rats, it only takes 1 rat to annoy you.

Think I found the hole and blocked it up, but I'm going to put an outside bait box down as well. Needs to be pet and child proof. This thing screws together.

Problem is that the neighbours moved out of their God awful trailer during the summer, and left the place in a shambles. When the tenant saw the first rat we put poison down and reported the abandoned building to the authorities. The authorities slapped a "CLEAN IT UP" notice on it, which is what they did. And so the rats have no food next door anymore and headed straight for our tenants house. DOH.

Anyway, a few more of these will be put on the property in the next week.

If you are wondering, the rat comes in the two holes on left and right, then wander round a corner and find these bait poison things. Chew on it, tell other where they found the food. And then die. The idea is that they can't walk off with the poison and hide it, which they will do.
