Down in Sussex
The view from Ditchling Road.
It's been a lovely chilled Sunday. Jenny continued with her gentle introduction back into running with a run around town. I began tackling the buddleia, which although is currently having a Winter snooze, is quite bushy & approaching uncontrollable heights. I also cut the brambles down to size, before they take a strangle hold (their berries are so darn tasty, but they're such vicious blighters! I bled for my troubles.).
We then made our way up to Ditchling Beacon, to take in the clear views & the colours of the approaching dusk over the downs. It was brisk but rather beautiful.
Maybe all this is the meaning of life, which is incidentally what we watched tonight. Goodnight.
