A good day......for ducks

The rain started about 8pm and varied from torrential to a constant downpour. But in whatever form it took was relentless. The pool was at risk of becoming a mud bath as the grass tried to soak it all up.

Getting to work was interesting with the side of the road being littered with older vehicles that couldn't take the constant soaking. Some were just stuck in the middle of the road because the driver just misjudged the depth of the water.

Added to that was the minibus taxi driver's strike which meant that the vast majority of working people were stranded at home or spent hours just getting to work.

The sun came out just in time to go home which was a welcome relief for those poor souls who's shoes had just about dried out.

And the good news? It's to be the same tomorrow!
