Tonight, the sky took flight

I took a fair few pictures today, mostly out of focus so this one was the best of my bunch, but it reminded me of a poem I red when I was much younger.

Tonight.
The sky took flight.
With wings of downy cloud.
And joyful shouts of golden songs,
that would make the warbler proud.

Tonight.
The sky took flight.
It soared as eagles hunting.
With fearsome speed and might,
To take the morning running.

Tonight.
The sky is flying.
Sun-streaking across the night
trailing purple, and hues of blue-bird down.
It flew so fast it broke sound.
