After 27 days ....

..... we are back home .....

Got to the hospital at 10..00am to collect Mum - she was all ready, bags packed and waiting ..... they had brought her medication (the obligatory paracetamol and some ranitidine - no pain relief - go figure!!!) ... but no "discharge from hospital" letter. We sat around for half an hour and then I decided to go and ask .... the response "Oh she already has it" ...... the nurse came along with me, opened up the (sealed) medication bag and inside was the letter ........ hmmmmmm?
Would have been nice if someone had told her/us.

Anywho ....... after a bit of shopping (Mum sat in the car) we got home about 2.00pm. Got Mum settled at home (the frame they sent is too big for her gingerbread house and just gets in the way - so that will have to go back) ..... stayed until about 6.30 and then left giving her strict instructions about what NOT to do ..... I know she won't take any notice though.

The last years photo re-taken from my computer for today is quite apt as it is part of her house ....

Onward and upward ... we haven't given up on our USA trip in June quite yet!!!!!!
