Faded glory
Stuck at home today - might be here another day or two.
I robbed Gail's birthday basket for a blip today. Something simple.
Best viewed Large to get the full detail of this fading rose.
It is a 44 shot stack using Helicon Remote and Helicon Focus. It was taken in almost darkness as the sun had already disappeared for the day. Colour control was achieved using a grey card to set white balance in camera. The only post processing was a very slight adjustment to the Levels midpoint and a very small Curves adjustment and a square crop to place the corner of the bleached petal at the top right hand corner. Not sure this is the best crop but I wanted to use that as a placeholder and keep the lovely yellows and golds in that part of the image.
Hopefully I'll be fit enough to at least step out the door tomorrow.
