Indoors again

The forecast is dreadful.

But when I woke it wasn't too bad so I went to the Health Club. A fabulous swim in warm water and a good chat and catch up were the order of the day.

Home to bake a final sourdough loaf before the starter goes (I hope) into hibernation in the fridge while I'm in Madeira. Coffee with a neighbour (took a big chunk of sourdough) so they know I'll be away.

And, weather permitting, out to play bridge this evening.

So far it has been depressing rain and gloom. I hope it doesn't get any worse - for any of us !
