Full Moon Valentines

Was in a very strange mood today, then found out it was a full moon tonight (see pic through bedroom window). Coincidence? I think not. I recall reading once that there's a rise in murder rates and crime during a full moon.

Well murder wasn't on my mind today but I was sure as hell grumpy.

Even a lie in (oops Audrey slept in until 8.45am and so did we!), a beautiful dozen red roses for Valentine's and a meal out at the Manchester House bar couldn't shift it. Such a shame when a cloud descends and you never seem to recover all day.

Audrey was in nursery and we were worried her lie-in would mean she wouldn't sleep but turns out she slept fine - this proves she is definitely teething! She sleeps so much when she is.

When we got back from town we decided to bake a lemon drizzle cake. Angus has never baked before and was very proud of our efforts. It felt like an afternoon off type of thing to do too.
