Love these little Bromeliads at Ionie Cafe

I was in Sarasota today and had some time to go to the Ionie Café for a raw food snack before getting my nails done. I had been wanting to try this spot for some time and today was the day. It smelled so good when you walked in the door. Their menu had quite a few choices that sounded good, and I had heard their vegan lasagna was very good but the Ionie roll which was like a sushi roll on nori with a wonderful dipping sauce with wasabi called my name louder. It was colorful and had great presentation and was delicious. It is a small café so I chose to sit outside at one of their topper tables and so enjoyed the bromeliads in the tree and the urban view across the way. People who live in these condos enjoy the downtown urban landscape and are close to a vibrant downtown and also a quick time to the beaches. It was a healthy lunch and raw food always make you feel so alive! The chef is charming and the wait staff very personable! They even gave out roses to customers for valentines day-a lovely gift!
