Back to Baleshare Beach

It was one of those classic Hebridean days - one minute bright sunshine, the next hail and rain. Today's blip was taken between the two. Suddenly the sand was like glass reflecting everything and the sun was about to disappear behind an ominous grey cloud.It wasn't too bad as the squall passed through quickly.
It was also a Grimsay lunch Saturday - a fortnightly event when a couple of "Grimayers" nobly volunteer to cook a soup and cake lunch for those who want it in the old school at Kallin. Primarily a chance to catch up with neighbours - in our case meet - it is quite a fun do.
Good that it coincides with a non-fast day. Also good news that I have now lost nearly a stone and half since starting our diet but unfortunately still a bit to go!
