Spoiled for Choice?

Maybe you recognise the scenario:

refusing to using a shopping list because you are far too youthful and sharp of mind for such "old person" behaviour, you find yourself hesitating in the aisles at your local Tesmorridabury store: have you got cooking oil at home? Swither swither; well, it lasts for years anyway, so might as well get it! Sadly, none of the available six varieties is homegrown, but you select two from England. Such a pretty colour.

And of course, when you get home, there is an unopened homegrown in the cupboard!!!! The same swithering has on previous occasions left you bereft of prune juice but with 32 rolls of Andrex (you see what I did there !!!) and enough instant porridge to feed Scotland.

Shopping list: that's a good idea.
