A real letter...!

I was tempted to use the title "French letter day"... but resisted, in case of causing offence to the more prudish sensitive Blippers out there...
But, yes, today I actually received a real, handwritten, personal letter through the post all the way from France! My excitement at this event brought home to me the fact of how seldom I receive proper letters anymore... most of my correspondence is via the internet or my phone... even bills don't come in hard copy any more...
This lovely letter consisted of a beautiful card in a matching envelope...
As a student, then studying French and German, I spent 4 months in Provence and the friendships I made then have lasted a lifetime...
