Nightmare Before Christmas!

Here's the cake I made today with the help of the birthday girl herself, Kelsey.

Kelsey wanted something that was uniquely her for her birthday. Her favourite movie is 'Nightmare Before Christmas' and we put together a few designs to make this creation. Hopefully she has a renewed appreciation for cake art ... as she's a keen baker herself.

There's a big moon missing from the cake. It hadn't dried out completely, so she'll add it on just before she cuts it. So just picture a big yellow moon behind the black 'hill' on the top of the cake. Also missing two tombstones which will be added at the top and on the base.

We are both thrilled with the way its turned out. Her celebration today involves a few of her friends having dinner, watching the movie and eating CAKE!
