The Greylags are back...

I had a great morning losing myself in my favourite pastime...photography of course!

It was a beautiful "Spring" morning - officially according to the Met Office. Spent much of my time on my little mat on my knees taking shots of the crocuses being visted by the honey bees.

Had a couple of conversations with other photographers.

More shots of the birdlife. This is a close-up shot of one of the first greylag geese I've seen this year. This means they're coming back to breed. I even saw my first mandarin duck, again back on the lake for breeding.

I'm now off to make my list for the Photography Show tomorrow atthe NEC in Birminham. There are quite a few blippers meeting up too - that should be great fun!
