Glowing

"His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of rushing waters" Revelation 1:15

Today's picture is something that caught my eye as I walked out of the snug this evening. It is a plug for James' laptop, and it has a ring around it that glows. I like glowing things!!! In fact it is glowing things that brought James and I together, as it was the first words I spoke to him "You're glowing" I said very excitedly, he thought I meant he was quite sweaty, I was actually just excited that he had a remote for his portable CD player which glowed, I had not seen anything like this before...

The Bible verse is taken from Revelation, which I have said in a previous post is a book of the Bible that I really like, I read and studied this as a teenager and it has always had a sense of wonder of excitement about it for me. In this verse John is describing Jesus, I like to think that there are no earthly words that can describe the things he saw, and so it is a little bit cryptic. But it does paint a picture in your mind, even if it isn't a totally accurate one. I don't think our earthly human brains can comprehend what heaven will be like...
