A splash of colour

A little bit of colour on a grey and dull day - from the beautiful summer's day on Sunday we are back to grey and rather cold. I had a need for some colour today, and these daffodils stood out amongst all the grey of the dull sky and dull, dirty river. I don't think the swans have even built a nest this year as even they have worked out that the river keeps flooding its banks and everything is still so muddy.

How can a plane just disappear out of the sky? Is there some black hole in the sky like the Bermuda Triangle? Those poor families must be going out of their minds not knowing what has happened to their loved ones.
