Warm Glow

Today was wholly satisfying.

It's spring and that means I can get out and start bashing our new garden into shape. It has been left neglected for the past few years and was becoming a worked example of a return to nature. Out came the strimmer. In no time half an acre was knocked back into shape. It did discover all sorts, including a ditch (yes I did fall in), lots of saplings (sadly yes I did chop one or two down) and that the dog had an upset stomach (yes.....).

I love being out side and getting things done. At the end of the day the sun did that burning gold thing. Hopefully these trees will flourish now that they are not being strangled by the undergrowth.
