The roar of an open fire

Ok so it's a gas fire but as today it's our only source of heat (in a stone wall house with no loft insulation) I've spent most of my day in front of it. This morning I managed to fix the leak but the boiler pressure keeps rising to a point where it cuts out.

It'll be another cold night but we've a guy coming tomorrow to do a quote for replacing the system with a combi boiler.
