I need to buy another umbrella!
No I haven't lost one! I just forgot to bring a decent folding umbrella up here to Ayr. Being in Ayr isn't a problem as I have four walking umbrellas here. I can't survive in Edinburgh for a week without an umbrella though and it must be a folding one so I can shove it in my bag flying back.
Typical of me to forget something!
Before I left Brum this morning, there were 8 starlings on the bird feeder having a noisy argument. I had my rubber gloves on and was washing up at the time. I swear they knew it and were taunting me.
Anyway, I'm going to have to cut this write up short as I can't concentrate! The Voice is on full blast and mom hasn't paused for breath yet. She isn't normally this bad! I was only up here two or three weeks ago but she was on the phone to her sister Noreen for an hour and a half when I arrived. Those Irish ladies can rattle on for days if you let them... Mom is now in super hyper fast talk mode! The bubbles in the Prosecco make it worse!
I may have to escape to The West Kirk soon...
The picture - my eyes are terrible and I am ashamed to say that I didn't even notice the train during the coach pitstop. All the old dears had shuffled off in the direction of the ladies' loo looking like a scene from Cocoon and I got my camera out instead. The other pictures were just of a load of fed up looking trees.
