The Llangollen canal is justifiably popular as certainly the bit I saw of it this weekend is lovely and very picturesque.

But I couldn't resist some grim as we approached the Grindley Staircase.

Left t'boat, H1 and Lawrie at Whitchurch, which is very pretty. Even though the interweb hasn't yet arrived and trains only leave it once every 2 hours.
