Lone skier!

Woke up to another beautiful day in Lech - glorious sunshine and very warm. This morning we had a stroll around the village and then took the cable car up the mountain and stopped for lunch at the cafe at the top. I say lunch - we all had a slice of apple strudel with cream. Well, you are allowed to indulge on holiday!

The scenery is absolutely stunning up here. Took a few photos at the top and decided on this lone skier who was just setting off on the long, steep ski down for my blip. We weren't skiing today as my mum, who turned 84 yesterday, is unable to get insurance any more! She is more than fit and able enough to ski and it's ridiculous that insurance companies decide that just because you reach a certain age you're over the hill!! Anyway, another wonderful day had my all!
