Finalised works of art

Lost wax bronze casting was a lot of work, but it was also rewarding, since all of my pieces turned out quite well. No arms or legs totally lots during the casting process. The bear's head door knocker needs to be attached to the main door of Villa Tyven to give the place just the right vibe. I really do not know what to do with the others...

Here the sculptures have received the final coats of patina. They had to be heated first and after that I applied the patina with a brush onto them. The Japanese lady and the lamb got a greenish finishing with ammonium chloride and all the others with liver of sulphur, which gives a brownish colour when applied. The lamps at the foundry were very yellow, hence it is difficult to see the true colours here.
