March 20th 2009 - Panana Hat Factory

This morning we went to the Panama Hat factory, the hat of course having originally originating from Ecuador as the hat lovers amongst you will know. The hat factory was nice and interesting but the most fun was good in the shop at the end – everyone just buzzed around trying on as many hats as possible. It was strangely pleasing to be trying on hats worth $100 but I don’t really know why! The afternoon consisted of food and shopping and then we went to a club in the evening. It was fun – every time Daddy Yankee came on we rushed to the dance floor. A nice, relaxing day in Cuenca.
