Ornamental Cherry

This shrub is really very beautiful just now, it's buds remind me of little beads and when the flowers come out they are just like a little pink rosette. It is in a border that I can see from the kitchen window and although the flowers don't last very long it's always a pleasure to see.
Not a good day for photography today as it's blowing a gale and it's turned considerably colder too!
