By the sea

To celebrate my birthday Mike, Richard ,David and myself went to Sutor Creek In Cromarty. We went in to eat today though instead of having a take away. The salmon starter was delicious and we shared three pizzas between us. Our favourite was the spicy chicken.

The wind last night kept us awake and it was a very rainy start to the day but by the time we came out the sun had come out and we managed to take a few photos of Hugh Millers Cottage and the big monument on the hill. Both will probably be blipped at a later date. There are so many little interesting alleyways and cottages throughout Cromarty as well as some very large old merchant houses.

I could see snow on the hills on the other side of the Firth and we have had a brief shower so maybe we will wake up to a covering of the white stuff in the morning.
