lock light

there were lots of opportunities for fotos this morning. frosted nettles, thistle leaves that looked like Christmas trees, icy tiles with huddles of moss trying to keep warm, the mist on the river. i also liked the way the sun shone through this fence, there to protect people from falling into the lock and was happy when i noticed the cyclist in the picture. i often walk past here so it seemed right to include it here.

what'll i do with all them other fotos? well, i guess frosted nettles would look good on a Christmas card! :-)
