Awesome Awesome!

Today I went to visit my Oncologist in Abu Dhabi, all of an hour and twenty minute drive away, but starting early, I had hoped to avoid the main traffic congestion of the day!

Not so!!! I was amazed at the number of cars and lorries there were batting along at break neck speed! Abu Dhabi has A law that says lorries are not allowed to overtake....so at one point I counted 27 lorries all in single file behind each other, all dependent on the speed of the lead truck driver!!! Not a row of happy campers!!

My results were all positively negative which was fantastic news although I still await results of my cancer markers which I should get on Sunday! (They're floating around inside me somewhere!)

Quick lunch with a colleague....then batting back down the highway to pick up GK...home for quick tea and once again on the road to Abu Dhabi...(GK at the wheel) for the Passion Concert.....So worth the effort of a double drive despite arriving home at 12:45am and not really getting to bed till 1:30am!!

Such an incredible evening and as my collage shows....age held no bar! That wee girl sitting on her dads shoulders stayed awake for the entire time...and loved every minute!

The folk in the lower right pic stood for the entire 3hrs and I'm sure many of them would then have had to make their way back to Dubai on public transport! .....but that was not a problem...you can tell they wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else.

Chris Tomlin....How Great Is Our God .....such energy! .... and of all the songs he sang.........this one definitely summed up for me........my day!!
