Happy Birthday to You!!

GK had a Happy Birthday........so we celebrated in style with High Tea!!!

We had never been to the Raffles Hotel which had opened a couple of years ago....so this was the perfect excuse.

We invited Pastor Doug and his wife Martha to join us as it is also Mothers Day in this part of the world and they are here from California doing an interegnum at the church...so a long way from family and home!

It is also Norouz which is the Iranian New Year, so before we all met up for tea...GK went to purchase flowers from her team to give to her boss

Can you believe I had to once again pose with the boquet so the rafia could be photographed!!

Tea was a lavish affair with bone china cups and exquisitely crafted sandwiches and cakes. We ate our desirable full before heading out to let Doug and Martha see the Palm and Atlantis Hotel swathed in lights.

Altogether a very relaxed day....a great way to cruise into another year of life....Happy Birthday GK!
