Deep Purple

I made it out as far as the garden today. That just about did me in, the increase in pain in the last couple of days has not been a welcome part of the healing process.
The technical difficulties of this shot are probable not that apparent - but as I can't really bends down & a squat would just about kill me - this was all done from a sitting position with the camera down by my feet. well it kept me out of mischief for a while.
The garden (despite the faintest dusting of snow first thing) continues to explode in to life & colour everywhere - I don't think I can remember a year where so many plants burst into life so early and with such vigour.
