We're all glad you're going?

It was the lovely Kat and Dave's leaving party this evening. They're running off to New Zealand for two years. There were so many happy smiling people there. Who would have thought so many people were happy to see them leaving? Oh? What? That's not why everyone was happy? Oh well.

It was a great night, they are much loved by many people and Edinburgh won't be quite the same without them.

I took a lot of shots throughout the night, this one amused me because it appears he is trying to lick a guy in the background.

In other news:

Scottish Gas finally came to give us a quote for a new boiler. Regulations have changed since the old one was fitted and now the flue is too close to the window, that means they've got to get scaffolding in to move the flue. Joy! It also turns out we've bad water pressure (really? I hadn't noticed *grumble, grumble*) So we can't get a combi boiler put in and we're stuck with the stupid pointless hot water tank! Also it turns out, having to have scaffolding about doubles the price. Yay!
