Cleaning

We have been spending every spare minute (and there don't seem to be many) cleaning and poly-filling our rented place as we meet with the 'expert' and land lord next week where we try and get our deposit back. We've heard horror stories about landlords refusing to give back any deposit in Belgium so we're frantically trying to do as much as we can. I think there are going to be even more late nights next week trying to get it sorted :(

This evening we had our first guests to our new home. We managed to rustle up a meal and have a lovely evening surrounded by unpacked boxes. However our friends A and G didn't seem to mind as they're our neighbours from the above place and we were keen to show them where we've moved to as we'll really miss them and want them to come and visit lots (we'll visit them too!).
