Meet Tuggles

My grandson came home from school and announced that he was this week’s Student of the Week. With this honor comes the responsibility of caring for Tuggles the bear. After caring for him and including him in activities, you are supposed to photograph Tuggles enjoying his time with you and then write about your adventures in the journal supplies by the teacher. It ends up being an adorable photo book of visits from each child in the class.
I got my camera out and we photographed Tuggles riding in Nicky’s backpack on his bicycle with his dad, playing Legos on the floor in the family room, playing chess with Nicky and his poppy and even eating dinner with us. Of course, I had to get one shot with Tuggles taking a photo using my DSLR complete with zoom lens.
My grandson took his job very seriously and I was very proud of him today.
It is nice to see a normally ‘cool’ kid turn things around to be a nurturing, caring person. All thanks to have been given a little responsibility for a small stuffed bear named Tuggles.
