A Place in Time

Was in Dunoon for some meetings today and had a little time to spend whilst waiting on the ferry. We were so lucky we chose today for our trip, the weather was beautiful, the water looked like sheets of ice and it was sunny too.

It's a few years since we were across in Dunoon itself, the person we used to work with there retired and its only recently that we've managed to meet the right person.

I was particularly taken with the old Pier, first built in 1835, and rebuilt in 1895. It's now on the buildings at Risk register but I've decided if I ever win the big money on the lottery I'll donate some money towards its restoration.

I owe it that much for sparkling in the sun for my blip today.
