Street light
Friday...how soon it comes around. Soon be Christmas. Shopping? Not done any yet. Need a dress for our Christmas 'do' as well...best get busy tomorrow.
Exhausted...because it has been a positive week - busy busy - kids wanting to work (although some of my colleagues have had different experiences to mine this week, of that I am sure. I do wish children would be consistent in their behaviour between different staff - picking and choosing just isn't right or fair), colleagues maintaining their motivation despite the best efforts of crap weather and long working days to destroy their will to live!
The only thing of note, but sad, was that our neighbours tonight asked us if both our cats were home - I assured them "yes", and Tracey was quite visibly relieved - she had been worrying all day as her husband had seen a cat very similar to ours knocked down and left at 5.45 this morning near to our house. Shortly afterwards, another neighbour came round to check on Sparky and Chippy's safety too. When I told Corin about this, he then informed me that he had seen the cat this morning when he left for work about 7.15, and had pulled over to move it off the road, clearly concerned at the time that it was one of ours too. Collar, but no contact details. Someone is going to be devastated and it makes me upset to think it could have been one of our little furballs.
Have taken one photo tonight, but processed it in a number of similar but different ways. They are in a little collection here
I have lost the energy to stay awake and ramble on. That very large and very hot curry I had for my tea is starting to make me sleepy. I actually broke into a sweat whilst eating it. Gorgeous food.
