George Street

An earlier blip today. I had an afternoon meeting in town - and so I managed to escape for a few hours.

I'd forgotten how beautiful Edinburgh is especially pre-festival madness and when the sun is shining. I didn't spot many tourists in town today - it felt like a secret day out - and a chance to enjoy the city all to ourselves.

I even spotted the trams operating ! (Sunshine, smiling locals AND working trams - I MUST be dreaming !!)

Spent some time this afternoon trying to take photographs of camera-shy colleagues for a future company publication. I had pre-warned a few to get their hair and makeup down and surprisingly the blokes were MORE camera shy than the girls !

For some reason I have no housework or work to do this evening....I'm off for a long soak !
